The Institute of Medical Ultrasound is authorized to offer programs in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography specialty concentrations of General, Vascular, and Cardiac by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission. The Instittute of Medical Ultrasound accreditation is currently in progress.

We fully anticipate that our accreditation will be granted by a regulatory authority, and as such that the accreditation will be an important measure of the quality of our organization's operations. As such, accreditation inpsections cover many areas that are regulated by state, federal, and local governments. By receiving the accrediting commision's stamp of approval, an organization is pretty much assured it will comply with applicable regulations.
