Recommended Hardware for Students • Pentium PC, Macintosh G3 or higher, or UNIX • 32 MB RAM • Internet access (28.8 kbps or above) • Sound card (if on a PC) • Speakers or headphones (A basic computer headset works very well.) • Microphone (if attending sessions with two-way audio) Recommended Software for Students • Windows 98 or higher (for PC) or OS X (for Mac) ** • QuickTime 5 or higher • HearMe two-way audio plug-in (for two-way audio sessions) • Internet Explorer 4 or higher OR Netscape 4 or higher (Your browser must be Java and JavaScript enabled) Before attending a class in HorizonLive, it is a good idea to run the HorizonLive Wizard. The Wizard will tell you whether or not your computer is ready to go, and will prompt you to download plug-ins if you need them. |
