Students attend classes in Atlanta or anywhere throughout the United States right in the student's hometown.
THEORY COURSES:
- Weekly LIVE, online classes with instructor and classmates
- Classes are small and interactive
- Two-way voice using microphone and speakers
- Ultrasound images display on the student's monitors
- Classes are all recorded for an effective study resource
- Students attend from wherever they have high speed Internet access
- Distance students and Atlanta students attend online classes together
SCANNING ARTS COURSES:
- Weekly hands-on scan classes for Atlanta students
- Students follow the IMU Study Guide and Scanning Manual
- Concentrated hands-on scanning seminars for our distance students
- Hours are flexible
CLINIC COURSES:
- Participate in the real world of the sonographer
- Scan on patients in a clinical setting
- Complete assignments and protocols with the assistance of your mentor
- Hours are flexible
A Clinical Partnership Packet will be provided to our distance student to assist with the process of establishing a partnership for clinical training.
